Hi, I’m Micky Mallen, affectionately known as ‘Madmicky’ to many but that dial has turned from an insane ’10’ down to about a mildly bonkers ‘6’ these days.
I spent most of my life obsessed with cycling, racing 25 years all over the UK, peppered with a smattering of success here and there. Then came running and fell running – to
distinctly average levels.
After 15 years in sales and networks with BT, I tangent-ed into working as a Sports Masseur for the past 12 years. Moving to the English Lake District I pursued the mad dream of running my own pizza business – Micky Pizza was born.
After its imminent failure, I found myself working as a full time builder for 3 years before ditching that to focus back on my own ventures to achieve the success they deserved.
Its been quite a crazy. unplanned journey. When I left school I wanted to study Art! That never worked. Neither did – Mechanical Engineering, Bike Mechanics, Frame Building etc etc. Life doesn’t tend to work out the way most of us planned, does it?
So, after a lifetime of service based work, helping people, putting smiles on faces, be that with an amazing pizza or fixing that agonizing shoulder pain, why not try and help MORE people?
Years of wondering just what the hell I was actually doing with my life (sound familiar? ) lead to two years of squirreling down a thousand rabbit holes, dozens and dozens of books,audio books, training programs, courses, seminars, webinars and blah-de-blahs. It culminated in qualifying as a Level 4 Transformational Coach in May 2024, under the Paul Mort Coaching Academy. Here we are then. Where will this path take me? Your guess is as good as mine!
